Letter to Parents

Welcome to Dieringer, a very special community!  Dieringer is composed of students who come to school well prepared and eager to learn.  Parents are concerned with success and provide outstanding support for their children and the Dieringer School District.  The PTA and many volunteers contribute countless hours and resources to our students and schools.  The District has a long standing history of providing high quality education for all our students.  Dieringer’s goal is for our students to gain the skills that will allow them to become successful, confident, contributing members of society.

The Dieringer School District has a student enrollment of approximately 1220 students in grades kindergarten through eighth. Thanks to the vision and generous support of the Dieringer community, the district maintains excellent school facilities designed to provide students a personalized educational experience. Students in grades first through third are housed at Lake Tapps Elementary which moved in to a wonderful new facility in the fall of 2005. North Tapps Middle School serves students in grades sixth through eighth, and will be expanded with the addition of a science wing and auxiliary gym in 2008. Dieringer Heights Elementary is home to students in kindergarten, fourth, and fifth grades; it will receive a five classroom addition in 2008. The district supports an additional 540 high school students who may select to attend any public high school. The majority choose to attend Auburn Riverside High School, Bonney Lake High School and Sumner High School.

The Dieringer School District has a very professional teaching staff who all meet the national Highly Qualified professional standards.  They care for children and are dedicated to their academic achievement and personal growth. Teachers and administrators work diligently to implement new curricula, state and district assessments, and the Essential Academic Learning Requirements. I am impressed and delighted with what I see happening daily in the classrooms of the district. All staff is committed to the district’s primary mission – the care and education of our wonderful students.

This website is designed to provide visitors with an overview of the Dieringer School District.  We hope you find the information useful and engaging.
