Funds day-to-day operations not covered by the state to ensure student success:

Athletics, clubs, and extracurricular activities
Access to arts and music at all schools
Salaries for teachers, librarians, nurses, and counselors
Special education programs
Instructional materials and textbooks
Increased funds for behavior support, bullying prevention, and mental health counseling

Ensures safe and equitable facilities for all students:

Ensure equitable access to learning opportunities in every school
Maintain necessary student and staff safety and security systems
Continued upkeep of roofs, heating and mechanical systems, and other infrastructure

The levy is a continued investment in our students:

Ability to receive a high quality education
Better preparation for the careers of tomorrow

The renewal of the Educational Programs & Operations Levy will continue to pay for district expenses that are not fully funded by the state, such as:

Our non-high payments
Camp Cispus
Food service
35% of special education
42% of supplies and materials
18% of certificated staff—which includes classroom teachers, counselors, nurses, and psychologists
6% of Classified Staff—which includes para educators, bus drivers, transportation and maintenance staff, and office staff
