PUBLIC COMMENT NOTICE: Please note, all public comment speakers must be signed up before the beginning of the regular meeting, and all spoken comments must be based on an item on the current agenda. If someone would like to make a comment about an item that is not on the current agenda, it can be submitted in writing to Vicky Welch at the District Office.
The Dieringer School District Board of Directors governs the school district, setting school and district policies within the guidelines of the law and the Washington State Board of Education.
School Board meetings and study sessions are open to the public. Regular board meetings typically take place the last Monday of each month, and are held in person and virtually. Several study sessions are held throughout the year and are in person only.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The School Board consists of five volunteer elected officials voted in by the Dieringer School District community. Each member serves a four-year term and must live within the school district boundaries and within the director district they serve. School Director responsibilities include:
1) To set policies within the guidelines of the law and the State Board of Education.
2) To provide fiscal oversight.
3) Be responsible for school district governance through the hiring and evaluation of the superintendent.
4) To evaluate progress toward district strategic plan goals.
5) To serve as a liaison among families, schools, and community.
